The confession is that on our bed we have 6 pillows. I would love to say that the pillows are split 50/50 between Brock and me ... but no. I use the body pillow, two pillows to keep my feet elevated, and then one pillow to actually rest my head on. It takes a good 2 minutes of me rolling around and moving pillows while Brock lays there with his one pillow waiting for me to stop moving so he can actually go to sleep.
The pillows take up half the bed ... |
Last week I was traveling to the booming metropolis of Lincoln, Nebraska for work. As soon as I got to my room and saw there were only two pillows on the bed. In a moment of slight panic I called the front desk for more pillows. Housekeeping came up with one extra pillow and while taking the pillow I asked for more pillows. The lady smiled and said "sure" only to return with only one more pillow. I started laughing at my own ridiculousness and asked for one more pillow, she didn't think it was funny and didn't return. Wasn't my best night of sleep. I had no idea how important pillows would become to me.
Quick update on the baby boy ... went to the doctor yesterday (Monday Nov 1st) and he's growing big, over 1 cm bigger than most babies at 28 weeks. I'm so glad that he's growing big and strong. Every time I go into the doctor I get to hear his heartbeat ... I love hearing his heart beat.
As requested ... 28 weeks and growing |
