This being the first post isn't technically "The Beginning", but I thought with all of our friends and family so spread out, this would be the easiest way to keep everyone included as our family grows.
As of today, I am 27 weeks pregnant, with an anticipated due date of Jan 25th. Doctor says he's healthy and growing big. The ultra sound tech called him a "wiggle worm", he stopped moving long enough for us to know beyond a shadow of a doubt that he's a "he". We couldn't be more excited for this little boy to join our family. It was a hard road getting pregnant but well worth the bumps.
We have started to "acquire" the necessities of early parenthood, namely the crib, glider, and jogging stroller. It was great trying out all the different gliders and relax for a couple mins in each. It was fun to see Brock test the jogging strollers around the store. He's so excited to take the little guy out for a jog in the "Bob" jogging stroller. The nursery is coming along ... and I"m sure will be the subject of blogs to come.
I"m still traveling quite a bit for work, just trying to get it in as much as I can before I'll be requested by the flight attendants to purchase a second seat because my belly extends to the seat in front of me. Last week it was official that I can no longer put my backpack on the floor in front of me. As I attempted to reach down and pick it up I found myself having to lay down across all the seats with my legs dangling out in the aisle, kicking innocent passengers.
